Wow it is time for a new update from Clark SO I have been in Ireland for a bit. I am doing youth work in the public schools over here The doors have ust been opening for us. We have doubled and tripled one of our lunch clubs. We are in 5-7 schools a week depending on how long we are scheduled there. It has been a blast just building up relationships with the kids. being an example to them they all just let us come in and talk about God right to the kids. most of the kids have no church background. Many people dont even go to church. since the violence has gone down and going to church was a political thing anyways. Maybe that is the biggest difference we bring an alive and active spirit of God We get to work in a youth center once a week just buildingup realtionships. .... But one thing I have found here is that you never know what it is like to fully live until you are put in a place that demands of you to do it even though you are scared even though you want to hide your faith must rise up and push forward. It must hold onto the one who lives inside you ..... It is so weird being here though cause you kinda dont know what or what not to do I just never realized how blessed I was to be in a place where I am comfortable where I am safe Where I can go and get a burger or talk to a cashier and know what they have grown up with cause so have you in another culture they have lived in a life you know only a small part of so it is a challange ... love life love where God has you embrance change because it will walk right by you if you dont andit has somuch to teach you of God and yourself |
